Civil Engineer

Test Description

This test assesses the candidate’s ability to plan, design, and manage a variety of construction projects by applying basic concepts of algebra, trigonometry, and geometry. Questions focus on applications such as MS Office Excel and AutoCAD; the process of reviewing project work, including accuracy of specifications, quantities, costs, completeness, and constructability; developing project drawings and reports; and the ability to resolve problems and ensure that the work is completed on time and within budget. The test covers several subject areas: Basic Industrial Math, Civil Engineering Skills, MS Office Excel Simulation, Units and Conversions Skills, and AutoCAD 2019 for General Use. It can be used to measure the performance potential of candidates for the following position: Structural Engineer.
